More Helpful Fuel Additives for Gas or Diesel Fuel
Highlighting AMSOIL fuel additives this month, we wanted to introduce a few more Helpful Fuel Additives that are more specialized.
Dominator® Octane Boost
If you are experiencing engine knock in your two or four-stroke engine, you need Dominator Octane Boost. Engine knocks are uncontrolled, explosive ignitions of fuel inside the combustion chamber. The result is a knock or ping sound, and if left unchecked, it reduces engine power and can cause serious damage. Low-octane fuels have a higher risk of knock, and the right amount of octane will eliminate engine knock. Dominator increases octane number by up to 4 points, improving ignition and engine response while helping your fuel burn cleaner and reducing corrosion.
Diesel Cold Flow
As temperatures drop, the natural wax within diesel fuel starts to crystalize, inhibiting fuel flow. AMSOIL Diesel Cold Flow contains a powerful deicer to help maintain engine performance in cold temperatures. Diesel Cold Flow helps prevent the fuel from gelling, so the fuel continues to flow easily to the engine. It reduces the need to use #1 diesel fuel, which decreases fuel economy and horsepower.
P.i.® Performance Improver
Fuel deposits accumulate on the fuel injectors, intake valves, and combustion chamber as your engine ages. This fuel additive restores power and performance, improving gas mileage between 2.3 and 5.7%. P.i. also reduces hydrocarbons (HC) emissions up to 15%, carbon monoxide up to 26%, and nitrous oxides up to 17%.
