Diesel Cetane Boost
AMSOIL Cetane Boost is a liquid hydrocarbon that ignites easily under combustion. Using a base rate of 100, the cetane number is the standard performance measure for compression ignition fuels, like diesel. Diesel engines operate best at cetane numbers of 50 or higher, but most diesel fuel sold has cetane values between 40 and 45. Putting Diesel Cetane Boost every time you fill up will increase your cetane level by 7 points. This cetane boost will maximize horsepower, increase fuel economy, and make for easier engine start-ups.
