AMSOIL Diesel Recovery DRC Emergency Fuel Treatment
When it gets cold and your diesel fuel has surpassed its cloud point, you get naturally occurring wax crystals that form and clog the fuel filter.
A major problem in cold temperatures is diesel fuel gels and clog the fuel filter preventing you from starting the vehicle. AMSOIL Diesel Recovery Emergency Fuel Treatment quickly dissolves gelled fuel and liquefies gelled diesel fuel, avoiding the need to take the car or truck in for expensive repairs.
AMSOIL Diesel Recovery contains no alcohol and is non-corrosive, so you do not need to worry about damaging your fuel system. It is easy to use AMSOIL diesel Fiesel Fuel Recovery:
- Remove your fuel filter; if the filter is dirty, replace it, then fill it with the recovery fluid.
- Once filled, install the filter, then pour the remainder of the treatment into the fuel tank.
- Check for any leaks, start the engine and let it run until you feel full power restored.
- Make sure to keep a bottle in your glove compartment to avoid that next tow to the shop.
AMSOIL Recovery (DRC) performs well with most diesel fuels, including ULSD, off-road, and biodiesel applications.

Diesel engines operate at very high temperatures. Highly engineered injectors maintain these high temperatures with clearances of 1-3 microns.
For comparison, a human hair is 70-100 microns. Even the smallest of deposits can lead to sticking or seizure, reducing performance and fuel economy. It is vital to keep the fuel system clean and avoid plugging the injectors.

Did you Know Ethanol causes Problems with your Fuel?
Yes, Ethanol added to your gas can absorb water moisture which can cause severe issues in your fuel system and performance in your engine.
One of the main things you want to avoid with the Ethanol in the Fuel these days is water-induced separation and breakdown. Some refer to this as Phase separation, which occurs when gasoline containing Ethanol comes in contact with water, either liquid or humidity.
You can have an upper layer of gasoline with a milky layer of Ethanol and then water below it when this occurs. Any moisture in your fuel system is dangerous and corrosive.
As a result, the degraded Fuel causes a significant maintenance problem to be addressed in all engines, including cars, trucks, small engines, and Powersports equipment. Water can cause severe corrosion and reduce performance.
Once you start getting water in the system, you can create gum, varnish, and other debris that muck up the fuel flow passages to complicate the problems further.
